Active duty US Army recruiter John Blauvelt is a wanted fugitive by the US Marshals Service (USMS) for the murder of his estranged wife Catherine Blauvelt on October 26, 2016 in South Carolina. After allegedly murdering his wife, John Blauvelt fled the state with another young female who was later found safe in Eugene, Oregon. The USMS considers Blauvelt armed and dangerous and suspects that he is located somewhere on the west coast. According to the USMS, any information leading directly to John Blauvelt’s capture is eligible for a reward of up to $2,500. Army spouse Catherine Blauvelt was allegedly murdered by her estranged husband & active duty recruiter John Blauvelt on October 26, 2016 in South Carolina. John Blauvelt fled the state shortly after the homicide with a teenager who has since been found safe. Blauvelt is considered armed and dangerous and is a fugitive on the run wanted by the US Marshals Service.
